Here you go. It’s very easy.
Parts needed:
2 wires
1 spst toggle switch
In this pic there are two orange wires. The upper wire is soldered to the pad to the right of c20 just below c4. This solder pad is empty in a stock holy grail.
1: desolder the pad from the back of the pcb so you don’t bump any SMD parts and then solder a new wire in to that hole.
2: run that wire to the center lug of your switch.
3: run another wire from one of the outer lugs of that switch to the centre lug of the switch that selects your reverb mode (there should be a brown wire there)
That’s it.
*warning* the short version of flerb sounds terrible. Please refer to my previous post to easily replace flerb with a decent room reverb. There’s also a chance this switch could enable different reverb algorithms depending on which circuit revision your grail is. As far as I know this only applies to older big box holy grails.
A potentiometer will just act as a switch in this application so just stick to a switch.
